Description: This antique Composition Mae Starr Doll is 30 in. in length and was manufactured in 1929. She is almost 100 years old. She has a soft body with composition head and limbs. There is some crazing, but this is not unusual in a doll of this age. She has blue eyes with painted eyebrows and lower eyelashes. Her top eyelashes are original. Her wig has been replaced- her original was no longer present when we found her. The wig is bonded with bangs and long curls in the back. She has an open mouth with teeth. She is wearing a light blue sleeveless dress accented with white lace. A light blue slip is underneath her dress and attached. She has new white bloomers. She has a large blue ribbon in her hair. The white shoes and socks are new. This doll came to us without clothing. We have tried to replicate her original clothes. The doll does not come with phonograph records, however; they are often found on ebay. When we found this doll, the records were not present. The hole in the front and back of the doll are for the phonograph discs. This doll would love to go to a home where she would be cherished and loved.
