Description: My usual basic description with all the needed details, none of the flowery sales pitch stuff. You can see the pictures-- I prefer you read what you can't see. Please ask for more pictures if needed.I do not have a "Make an Offer" option. Please don't ask. This auction is for an antique bisque 21" Heinreich Handwerck/Simon Halbig doll. She can be posed. Major flaws are pointed out. The stand is included. The head is stuffed to prevent the eyes from breaking. The wig & pate will not be put on snugly so you can remove packing.HEADThe head has been backlit, no hairline cracks. Anything that looks like it might be is a stray hair. The 4 front teeth are intact. The ears are not pierced. She has antique blue sleep eyes that are original to the head. She has a Synthetic mohair light brown wig. MARKINGSGermanyHEINRICHHANDWERCKSIMON & HALBIG2 1/2BODY This is tightly strung. She will sit or stand. It is a 15 piece composition body. It is unstamped. It has the usual dings and marks of these 100+ year old bodies but no major issues See picture for finish missing on the inside of the right thigh. (looks like left in picture because leg was twisted) The fingers have not been repaired. The hands are the same size and color. The slip has been handstitched closed so I am not removing it to get the entire body at one time. Shoulder joints and neckline are good.CLOTHINGShe has an antique reproduction shoes and socks. She has an antique slip that has been handstitched closed at the shoulders so it has not been removed. Her panties are not antique. The dress is a cream colored silk with lot of lace on it. It has an attached slip on the bottom. The materials may be antique but the dress is not. It appears to be handmade. Seams are finished. It closes at the neck with a button, at the waist there is a snap. The bonnet is not an exact match but it is close. SHIPPING Shipping is an estimate. PLEASE ASK FOR INVOICE I put in estimated total weight and package size to list it, Ebay gives you a price based on that and the distance it will travel from Connecticut. I will ship the least expensive way possible. I can charge more accurately when the doll is packaged to ship. The package will be insured for the value paid. It is included in the shipping cost. The cost of packaging is also included when applicable (why I use recycled materials--saves all of us money). I expect payment within 3 days of purchase or receipt of invoice unless otherwise agreed.I will combine shipping when I can. ALL COMBINED PURCHASES MUST BE PAID FOR TOGETHER SINCE I CAN'T INSURE IT PROPERLY OTHERWISE. Dolls cannot be shipped with the wigs that are being sold separately. INTERNATIONAL: SHIPPING THROUGH EBAY INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING PROGRAM ONLY!!!PLEASE CHECK IF THERE IS A DOLLAR LIMIT FOR YOUR COUNTRY. I am not a professional dealer. I am selling my collection of 1000+ dolls, accumulated over 40 years. Many of these have been put together with parts bought separately over years. I describe to the best of my ability. FOR PACKING I MOSTLY USE PREVIOUSLY USED BOXES, CLEAN PLASTICS THAT CAN BE RECYCLED, NOT NEW PACKING MATERIALS. THE HEAD IS WRAPPED IN EITHER NEW OR USED BUBBLE WRAP. THE BOX/PACKING WILL NOT LOOK PRETTY OR ELEGANT BUT THE CONTENTS WILL BE SECURE. THESE MATERIALS MAY BE PLASTIC MILK CARTONS, NEWSPAPERS, EMPTY FOOD PACKAGES, ETC. These all have been washed in hot soapy water and allowed to dry completely.
