Dressel L&N-28 4-Way Switch Signal Lamp Lantern body is black and in fantastic condition. Four Glass Lens Colors Are: Blue, Amber, Blue, Red. Day targets outside of the glass lenses are porcelain enamel colored metal (one has been painted over with yellow, likely by the railroad, some small chips in enamel see photos) Excellent brass wick adjustment knob on outside of body that links to the oil burner inside. Oil burner (fountain) is visually Ok condition, untested. L&N-28 stamped on the lantern body. (Louisville and Nashville Railroad?) Cast Iron base on bottom of body - for fitting on the top of a switch stand (switch stand not included). Lantern is Approximately 19" Tall x 11 x 11. Weighs nearly fifteen pounds....!!!
