Description: This has numerous scratches and scuffs and dings and a little wear to the finish. The latches have a little rust especially on the screws and other areas, but this is quite old and should not be expected to be perfect. There is a little separation in the wood slats of the lid and the bottom, when you hold it up to light you can see the light. This measures approximately 6 and a quarter inches deep, by approximately 7 and 7/8 inches high, by approximately 8 and 5/8 Inches wide. Please check pictures as they are most of the description. I have no idea what this was used for, but looking at the metal piece inside of it; it might have been used to hold camera lens or something of that sort, but I am not sure. It weighs approximately 3 pounds. I think the wood is oak, but I am not sure. I don't know if the hinges are original as when it is closed it does not fit tightly or flush. Again , please check pictures. I recycle boxes and packaging materials. I pack with great care. Shipping is retail ground which can take 7 to 10 days to arrive so please be patient. Optional priority mail is available. If you have any problems please contact me first before leaving negative feedback and I will make things right.
