Description: Antique Early 1900's Steiff Teddy Bear on Wheels w/ Brown Mohair Hay Stuffed Ride on or Pull Toy. Measures 14" long x 6 1/4" wide x 10" tall. Believed to have been made around 1908-1915 era, large stuffed chocolatycolored mohair hay stuffed teddy bear on cast steel frame with 4 spoked wheels,2 button eyes, black stitching around the nose & mouth, felted paw pads. Couple of issues, small separation around the neck area (see pic. 12) that is not viewed when he stands along because of the drop of his head, some loose stitching around the mouth area (see pic. 11),and a wear spot (see last pic.) on his left side of his back. Overall, in very good condition for its age, will display extremely welland make a great addition to your collection, super rare and hard to find,selling as shown.
