Designed to be used in cheese shops and deli's, this slicer was used to cut precise weights of cheese from round blocks or hoops of cheese. This industrial cutter was revolutionary in that it measured the amount of cheese in a round that was computed by rotating the handle. This would make great addition to any vintage kitchen, country store, deli or rustic home decor. It does show wear. Please see pictures.
