Description: This is a nice pair of antique Georgian brass candle snuffers with wick trimmer / scissors from the early 19th century. The snuffer is a scissor style with two finger loops that swing the door open; as the finger loops are closed the door shuts with a little looseness in the action. The handles are loops attached to scrolls and the body is on 3 nicely shaped raised feet. The brass has been lightly polished and they are in excellent condition, fully working with a fully working tight action. They are 7 1/4 inches long.Please check out my other auctions and antiques (that is almost all I sell). Also, I will always combine items together to reduce postage costs.
