Description: A fabulous find to add to your collection -- this is a 1928 gold tone lapel pin that reads "HIRSCH" and underneath "1928" within the center diamond shape of the larger pin with a small attached year pin for "28" which has wonderful enamel in red and white. Based on research, we believe this was a student's graduation year pin from EMIL G. HIRSCH SCHOOL in Chicago, Illinois. The back of the larger pin is marked "CORONA Chicago" otherwise there are no noticeable maker marks.
