Description: Antique enamel on bronze pill box. Europe, like France, circa 1920. This is a PRETTY and UNIQUE pill box ( snuff box ) ( Tobacco box ). ALL hand painted with enamel on brass ( bronze ), nicely decorated with dancing angels ( Cherubs ) playing with music instruments and holding flags in joy scene. The convex hinged lid, decorated with 3 angels, the 4 sides of the base, and the underside also same decoration. All on a white background color. Some high relief enamels at the corners, which gives more elegance and luxury to the box. Hinges close firmly. Please see photos carefully to admire the beauty of the piece.
