Description: Antique early 19th century eyeglasses with great make-do repair and case. The make-do repair is extremely fine securing the bow mount to the frame with threads running between the frame and the lens. A very nice, string repair for the times. There are no marks identifying the maker on the eyeglasses. One bow is marked 14 at the end. The lenses measure 1-3/8" x 1-1/16" and it measures 110 mm (4.33") from bow screw to bow screw. Selling as found and no attempt at cleaning has been made. No chips or heavy scratching to the lenses and the frames minus the make-do repair are complete and in very good condition. The case shows wear along the edges. See photos.
