Description: I have been an avid collector of vintage and antique French fabrics for a few years and found this particular fabric to be spectacular. This is quote old (my guess is mid-late 1800's) lightweight cotton fabric in muted shades of deep burgundy (almost brown), pink and tan. Wonderful if you're doing a textile study or have a project that needs a hard-to-find touch of history. The fabric is worn, and faded, with stitching on one edge and stitching holes on the other edge. This is in as-found condition. A few small holes. I love to use these fabrics in slow stitching or junk journals. A lovely historic treasure. Measures approximately 16x18".
