The back marks indicates that this beautiful cabinet plate was hand painted by Pierre Dubois in 1924. Pierre Dubois began working at this factory in 1917.These gorgeous antique plates has a lightly scalloped blue rim edge with flowers dotting the rim. The center is comprised of pastoral scenes depicting each a man and a woman.It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks except a longer kiln flaw not an actual crack. There are a few very tiny glaze skips on the rim which is normal for antique majolica and faience.Add thse are beautiful plates to your private collection today or give as a fabulous and unique gift.
