Description: Offered is this beautiful antique French majolica asparagus plate. Made in the Niderviller majolica factory which started in 1735. This is the same plate seen on page 31 as seen in photo. It features 19 asparagus stalks and a large leaf that is used as your sauce well. This is a nice large plate that measures 10.5 inches in diameter and will make a nice statement on your wall. It is in excellent antique condition with no chips or cracks. It has a few glaze flakes on the back rim and overall glaze crazing which is normal for antique majolica. Add this to your personal collection, Home Decor or give as a fabulous antique gift.
