Description: Antique 14 inch tall 1870's wax over papier mache doll. This is a more difficult to find MOLDED hair baby doll with a side part. Hair is painted blonde. Black SLEEP pupiless eyes, closed mouth, blushed cheeks, exposed ears. Overall, the head is in fair condition. There is a hole in the top of the head that is slightly off center to the head and some crazing to the wax, but it's all stable. Org. cloth body has a non working bellows in the tummy. Lower papier mache arms in good condition and with the org. paint. The lower legs have molded and painted boots (toe chip to one), red outlines, molded and painted stockings. He (or she) is wearing an antique bonnet, antique gown, antique petticoat, and antique bloomers that may all be org. Attic found and not cleaned and clothes are not laundered.
