Description: This is a really beautiful obviously hand carved piece. It measures 6 wide by four deep by 2.5 tall. Based on my research, I believe it to be a cigar box that was likely handmade in India. I am uncertain of the date of manufacture. The box is constructed of some type of exotic hardwood, perhaps mahogany. It is hand carved and has a repeating floral theme. The inside is lined with blue felt. The box has very, very slight separation from the lid to the lid substructure and ever so slight separation on the base from the base structure.
