Description: Payment | Shipping Antique Hand Stitched CRAZY QUILT Embroidery 19 Signature Friendship 92" x 92" For sale is this BEAUTIFUL hand stitched crazy quilt dating to the early 1900s that came from a Los Angeles estate. This is a beautiful example, and the colors are bright and stunning! This is a very unique piece, as it was obviously a friendship quilt. I counted 19 different signatures in embroidery spread over the quilt, which is pieced with hand embroidery. This is a heavy warm blanket that is filled and backed as shown. This measures 92" x 92" and is shown on a full size bed. It is overall in good condition with a few small areas of staining as shown and a few pieces of black silk which have shredded with age (underneath is a printed cotton so you can simply remove the silk or replace these small areas with a piece of fabric).
