Description: A gorgeous antique quilt, the colors are beautifully mixed, the cotton is sturdy and the quality of the workmanship is very fine. The maker signed the quilt in the lower right corner with the initials F.O.L.R. dated 1921. Each plate has 19 individual sections of different antique cottons. The reverse is a bright yellow cotton and may be more recent than the top of the quilt. Study the photos to see the hand-stitching. We photographed it on a queen size bed to give you an idea of the size. The condition is excellent. Hand washed. We note some faint age marks that did not come out in a delicate wash cycle (see photos 11 & 12). Also, one cotton left a very faint bleed on the reverse yellow (See last 3 photos). 80" x 96-1/2" This remarkable quilt was a real labor of love!!
