Description: This is a clear frosted antique shade believed to be circa 1940s. It has a 2.25" fitting with grooves to hold the set screws. It is made of frosted glass - Glossy on the inside, matte on the outside. I have seen many of these painted along the bottom third to highlight the design. If you feel creative, you could give that a try. For a shade around 80 years old, it is in very good condition. Some minor flecks of glass have chipped off, but not really visible without a close up inspection. Photos do a good job of showing the conditioni.
