Description: Antique Haviland Limoges Sugar & Creamer Set - RARE DAISY FLORAL Pattern is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, fading or crazing. Colors are vibrant and item has been kept in a glass display case to preserve & protect. Acquired recently from the estate of a Haviland collector. ~Maker-- Haviland Mark C-4 circa 1891-1931 (most probably late 1800's-1910 because of the design...see below.~Origin-- Limoges France~Measurements-- Sugar 3.25"-H x 4 3/8"-W x 5.25"-Base Creamer 2 5/8"-H x 3.5"-W x 4.25"-Base~Features-- This absolutely stunning, rare sugar and creamer features a unique shape with a quatrefoil base & lid and gorgeous handpainting. The gold on both has very little rubbing. There is no staining inside either. Beautiful & delicate handpainted daisies on both sides of the pieces. The flowers are larger as in many of the earlier hand painted Haviland thus adding to the rarity especially in this pristine condition. The color shading throughout the design is subtle yet exquisite.There is gold detailing throughout accenting the beauty & fluid movement of the piece.
