While the current upholstery is usable, the seats are easy to recover if you wish to customize them. Solid Construction: The chairs feature a one-piece flared back leg, solid H cross stretcher for added stability, tapered front legs, a wraparound skirt, and intricate cutout center splats. Original Condition: The chairs retain their original brownish mahogany finish, which complements the upholstery. A few chairs have small cracks in the backs, and one has a chip on the side post, but overall, they are in good, sturdy condition. Dimensions: Armchair: 21 inches wide (outside arms), 18 inches wide (inside arms), 19 inches deep, 21 inches high to the seat, 28.5 inches high to the arms, and 39 inches high to the chair back. Side Chairs: 18 inches wide, 17 inches deep, 19 inches high to the seat, and 27 inches high to the chair back.
