Description: Antique HooVer Deluxe Sewing Machine. I'm guessing its from the 1930's or 1940's. I think it was originally mounted to a cabinet but this auction is just for the machine. I plugged it in and the motor runs and the pulley turns. I'm not a sewer so I couldn't figure out how to make the needle go up and down. It has a serial number on it, B5028269A. It has 2 cords, one for the motor and one for the light. It is very pretty. Real good condition, has a couple chips in the black finish. The base of this machine is 12" long x 7" wide. I think this was the smaller version they made. Weighs about 15 pounds and appears to be cast iron.
