Description: For auction is an antique ice saw used in the late 19th and early 20th centuries to cut ice chunks off ponds to provide refrigeration the rest of the year. It has a 48" long blade and the handle is marked '2'. The saw is in excellent condition. There are a few rust spots on the blade that I have not attempted to polish/buff off. There is also rust on the rod that connects the wooden handle to the blade. The wooden handle is in great shape with no splits or cracks. The blade is 7" wide and it has 29 sharp teeth. (BPORLRTC)
