Description: This item shows overall wear including discoloration and fading to the paper, there is a small rip at the upper right corner above the publishers name, the title is blocked by the matting, the frame is scratched, discolored, nicked, and chipped, and the backing paper is missing. This item reads from the top left corner to bottom right corner, “Printed in England Copyright Published by J. Hildesheimer & Co LTD London & Manchester. Painted by F. Wheatly, R.A., Engraved by A. Cardon”; we believe this item to date to the late 1800’s. We believe this is a print from a series called Cries of London, however, the print is securely inside the frame and we do not want to damage it by attempting to remove it to read the title. The frame measures approximately 15.125” x .25” x 19”, and the engraving measures approximately 8.5” x 11.5”. Please see pictures for more details. T8
