Both the cups and saucers depict 18 Geishas engaged in different activities. They are marked as shown on the second photo ("Dai Nippon Nakamura Sei", meaning "Great Japan Nakamura made"). This unique delicate eggshell cup measures 1 7/8" (47.6 mm) high by 3 7/8" (98.4 mm) wide. The saucer measures 5.5" (139.7 mm) wide. Both pieces are in great antique condition, free of chips.
