This is an early Keystone Manufacturing Company film editor/ viewer/ splicer. It appears to be set up for 16mm film, but it could be for 8mm as well. This is probably from the early to mid 1920'sTHE LIGHT IS NOT WORKING. Toggle Switch is intact. The viewer housing has the original light socket and switch. The old fabric coated wires (see photo) are in place and ready for a replacement cord. However, there is no way to know how good the existing old wire insulation is, so replacing all the wire inside is recommended if you intend to use this. All the gears turn smoothly and the splicing mount is complete with the film clamps and pull down lever. This is a piece of motion picture history where movie making was first presented to the general public as a legitimate hobby. How many successful film makers started out with home movie cameras and countless hours of splicing their creations together by hand? WILL BE DIS-ASSEMBLED FOR SHIPPING.
