There are lovley large shaped vignettes in each corner with ladies or Goddesses in classical dress and cherubs.. In between the larger vignettes there are smaller shaped vignettes with needelace baskets and cherubs.There is so much work on this tablecloth..it is almost entirely covered with handwork. Many of the tablecloths made during that time always depicted themes like Love, Springtime and Harvest time. Measuring approx. 45”. In mainly very good strong condition..two pinholes in cloth and a couple of openings in scalloped edges that are minor,a few spots. The cloth has it’s original cream patina and seems as if it was rarely used.
