Description: Very nice large antique Chinese red lacquered box. This piece was probably a sweet meats container originally. Approximately 15 inches at widest and just under 5 inches tall (see photos for additional measurement details). The box has some cracking inside lid (see photos), and one area on outside corner that has had a repair attempt made in the past. We've included close up photos so you can see for yourself . We have not altered the repair and will leave it up to the new owner to repair or leave as is. Overall this piece is in very good condition for its age.
