Registered in France 1914 to 1918 & were not exclusive to the military, civilian purchase was possible also. The Hilt is made of Horn. The L.E. BALKANIQUE will be coming to you in Good to Very Good Condition. The Pocket knife has been well used with the metal showing discoloration but is fully functional. The ring on the eyelet is missing. The ring was used to collapse the blade. Without the ring, it is a bit more challenging but is easily done. The blade in the fixed position is not firm but fully functional. Will not collapse by itself. You will have to do that.(See all Pictures) The L.E.
