Description: ANTIQUE LORILLARD'S STRIPPED SMOKING TOBACCO LITHO BOX TIN PICNIC BASKET with HANDLES This is an antique lithographed picnic basket box tin with handles that advertises for Lorillard's Stripped Smoking Tobacco on the top lid. This tin probably dates to the early 1900's and shows a graphic on the top lid of a pack of Lorillard's Tobacco. Pack advertises for Lorillard's Stripped Smoking Tobacco from the P. Lorillard Company out of Jersey City, New Jersey. Large picnic box shaped tin has handles on the sides for carrying. Tin container is in pretty good condition overall for its age with just some natural wear present. The lid displays quite nicely. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures about 7 and 1/4" tall by 9" wide by 7.5" thick. Wonderful old Lorillard's Tobacco picnic basket tin would be a great find for your collection. Don't miss it.
