Description: This is an antique plate that is about 8.75 inches across with an odd shield mark on the back from H. Boulenger & Co. of France. Hand painted underglaze, a nice looking pheasant. There is a light crazing on it except on the back there is a brown area of crazing and it's dark a bit up by the tip of her tail. There are two small flea nicks of sorts on the rim that look like the glaze missed but I guess the glaze could have flaked off there - about 1/16 inch in size. Also by the tail on the backside there looks like an edge crack about an inch long - it doesn't go to the front except just on the edge, can mistake it for crazing there. This will be more clear than the digital photo shows. The high bidder is to pay for shipping, we're in the Northwest so the further you are away the more it could cost, sorry, the postage rates have been high. We can send this UPS, but you'll have to wait a little longer as we have to go out of town to get to the nearest UPS place so we prefer USPS parcel post. We will combine auctions to save on shipping. Ebay's rules only allow us to advertise electronic payments for payment options so we do accept Paypal. Winning bidder may notify us of their payment type preference if need be.
