Antique Munising Wooden Bowl Oval 15.5" with Lip Red 1920's Block Print Mark VTG

Description: Description and Condition This is a very early painted oval wooden bowl with lip made by the Munising Woodenware Company in Michigan. It measures approximately 15.5" x 14.5" (top opening) x 4 5/8" tall and weighs approximately 2 pounds 13 ounces. The Munising (block style) mark on the bottom section is the earliest one suggesting that this bowl was made during the 1920's to mid 1930's. Some of the bowls that the company produced were painted, such as this example, which has a rustic red color on the outer shell and top rim, and a butter yellow in its interior section. The interior shows normal wear and tear from years of use, highlighting its groove lines and adding to the character and history of the piece. A fantastic addition for your personal collection and farmhouse decor. In great pre-owned condition and patina for its age. No cracks or repairs.
