Probably Bannock, Lemhi Shoshone or Crow. Decorated with multi-colored seed bead symbolic geometric humanoid images. Deer hide thongs. Color and suppleness of the soft hide suggests brain tanning. Twine stitched. Probably early 20th century. Size suggests women's or youth's mocassin. CONDITION Overall excellent. All beadwork complete and intact.
