Description: 13-178 Today we're offering a gorgeous antique vase made by the New England Glass Co. of Cambridge, Mass., circa late 1800's. This particular vase form was introduced in 1883 and is called a "Lily" or trumpet vase. It's made of crystal and has a lovely ring to it. The amberina glass starts as amber and turns to ruby at the top. The glass is also ribbed and optic, from the middle to the bottom of the "lily". The top is open and gracefully curls with petal shapes. The glass has lots of bubbles. The pontil is inverted and polished. It is unsigned. It stands 12" tall and approx. 5" across the mouth. It measures 4.25" across the foot. The condition is very good with no cracks, chips or damage we can find other than a few scratches on the top and bottom of the foot as pictured. * No hassle returns - buyer pays return shipping.
