Narrow satin selvedge on each vertical edge. Raw edge on top and bottom. Dimensions: 12.75” x 7.25" Neyret Freres et Cie, Paris produced these silk weavings using fine quality Chinese silk in twelve various shades of gray as to resemble an etching. The weaving is hand painted in vibrant colors and is in excellent condition. This was rolled up in a tube and appears to have been stored that way for many years. Never mounted or framed. Made at the Jean-Baptiste Neyret Freres mill in St. Etienne France late 1800s. Marked on the bottom edge of the weaving with the Neyret Freres trademark.
