Description: Antique/Vintage Nurre Maestro Vertical Etched Mirror with Carved Ornate Wood/Gesso Gilt Frame. This is a gorgeous antique mirror made by Nurre Companies, Inc., Bloomington, Indiana. I am not sure of its age but my research indicates it is from the late 1800’s to the early 1900’s. The quality of the reflection is excellent. The mirror has a curved top that is adorned by ornate three-dimensional carving. Mirror glass is in perfect condition and held in place by two brass buttons. Frame is in excellent condition - no cracks or blemishes - just a couple tiny spots where Gilt is nicked in carved detail at top of mirror. Manufacture number and authentic Nurre Maestro Label still in tact. Minor rips in brown paper lining on back and what appears to be the original wire hanger. Scroll work etching at both curved top and bottom of mirror glass. Mirror from end to end is 33 inches tall,12 inches wide, and 1 inch deep. This is in amazing condition for its age and is a fine quality piece.
