Description: We are pleased to be offering this set of 6 heavily carved extra tall Victorian oak dining room chairs to you today. Dating from the 1890s in original condition, even the fabric looks original. The finish is original, and the set is all tiger sawn oak. It has two armchairs and four side chairs. The chairs have fluted multi-turned front legs joined together with multi-turn cross stretcher and carved detail backs. These chairs would be breathtaking all reupholstered in a leather upholstery. The overall size of the armchairs are 24 inches wide, 21 inches on the inside of the arms, 24 inches deep, 21 inches high to the seat, 29 inches high to the arm and 50 inches high to the top of the back. The side chairs are 20 inches wide, 19 inches deep, 46 inches high to the chair back and 19 inches high to the seat. The fabric on the chairs is usable, but they could use a shampoo. There are no rips or tears in the fabric. The chairs are tight. The springs have dropped down on one chair, which we will tie back up. One chair is missing castors. I am not sure if they are Horner or not, but they are that style. Shipping starts at $365 for a driveway delivery in our normal New England delivery area.
