Description: This is an oil painting in an antique gilt frame that measures 21”x 19” x 2 5/8” deep with an Oct. 14, 76 date etched into the back. I believe the whole frame is real gilt, even most of the sides except a 5/8” wood border that can be seen in a photo. I see no signature on the oil painting, but have not removed it from the frame, but written on the back, I believe it reads W. Wilson 1880, London, with a printed name on the canvas. The painting has a couple of repairs and a wornspot, but no patches on the back and measures 12” x 10”. The frame has chips in a few spots, but in pretty good shape.A
