Description: Antique embossed & labeled Otto's cure medicine bottle. Front panel of bottle is embossed "Otto's cure for the throat and lungs". Sides are embossed "B.H. Bacon & Co." and "Rochester, N.Y.". Bottle is in excellent condition with no chips/cracks or other issues. Original paper label shows very light wear. This must be right from the transitional period where "cure" was no longer allowed as a legitimate claim. The bottom of the label mentions the food and drug act of 1906, but "cure" is still on the label as well as embossed on the bottle. Ingredients listed on the label include Ethyl Alcohol, Chloroform, and Muriate Morphine Condition and dimensions shown in photos. Displays well and is guaranteed old/original.
