Absolutely beautiful and in fantastic shape for its age, with some slight glaze crackling. Some very slight glaze imperfections - please see photos. This pattern is very hard to find, hard to replace. Add this to your existing set, or purchase to complement your current pattern. This set has providence, purchased from an elderly couple in Virginia who inherited it from their parents. No chips or cracks. Please see our other listings of same pattern. The C.C. Thompson Pottery, named after Cassius C. Thompson, operated in East Liverpool, Ohio from 1868 until 1938. Like many other potteries in the late 1800s, they produced Rockingham and yellowware and later semi-porcelain dinnerware. It was located along the Ohio River and just to the side of the old Chester Bridge.
