A historical novel originally published by Archibald Constable in three volumes, London - UK in 1819, as one of the Waverley novels. The story set in England in the Middle Ages. It is the story of a romance between Wilfred of Ivanhoe and the Lady Rowena, his father's ward, and contains a quest and themes of heroic ideals defeating corrupt power. The beloved character Robin Hood is also included!! Ivanhoe became one of Scott’s best-known and most influential novels. In remarkably Great Condition for its very old age with minor sign of wear or discoloration! Very mild wear to the hinges, corners & panel edges, as shown on the attached photos. The binding is fully intact & strong. No loose or missing pages; all pages are intact & clean with light discoloration • no writings or markings.
