WILLIAMS & CO., NY Click images to enlarge Description ANTIQUE SPICE TIN Neat antique ROYAL SCARLET Brand spice tin measuring 4-1/2" tall and 2-1/2" square. Featuring lithograph advertising on tin, color is deep red with cream and gold accents/lettering. Once holding PURE MUSTARD at 8 ounces, tin appears to be full - I did not pry off the lid to check - it was distributed by R.C. WILLIAMS & CO., INC., N.Y., and dates to the first quarter of the 1900s. Condition is very good with age related scuffing and finish wear - a shallow dent on the side bottom as shown, and soiling, patination and discoloration to the japanned gold metal ends.
