Description: Antique Sarreguemines "Minton Pink" Faience Square Plate W/ Hairline Beautifully hand painted faience square serving plate in the "Minton Pink" pattern by the Franco-German Sarreguemines pottery factory. The pattern was manufactured between 1890 and 1914. This plate is a soft paste porcelain/ faience. In spite of its delicate nature, it is in excellent condition except for a hairline crack that runs vertically in the left side bottom of the plate. (The hairline can also be seen on the back.) Otherwise, the plate is sound with no chips, breaks, or discernible scratches. See photos for best statement as to condition. Overall, a beautiful and elegant plate that is great for display and light use.
