The Lid and all sides are Hand Painted Featuring lovely Blue Roses. The Backstamp dates production to somewhere between the mid 1700s to late 1700s. The box is 6.5" by 4" wide by about 2" high, and in excellent preowned condition, no chips or cracks (see Pictures).This is a rare treasure and possibly the oldest Sevres box you will ever encounter.
