Description: A late Victorian silver plated nickel writing etui tool set with traveling Inkwell, the outer casing with spiral fluted design, the hinged hook over the top releases the lid to the inkwell. Inside the lid is a glass inkbottle that is slightly sprung so that when the lid is replaced and the hook is pulled over the bottle it is sealed by an interior stopper. The whole top section pulls off to reveal a storage compartment for a dip pen and pencil. The pencil and dip pen pull out and when reversed fit back into their holders to make a full size tool. The tools have matching spiral fluted handles. The inkwell's cover stamped: D.R.G.M No. 11747. English, circa1900. Dimensions: 12.2 cm long This item is not new, It may show minor signs of wear.
