Description: This auction is for a used Antique Single Iron Saddle Stirrup - 0228244No marking to indicate the makerIt used single saddle stirrup - it is steel - I have not cleaned it up - previous owner collected stirrups - this one is hard to explain it is thin and light with a rotating foot - it has stops so it could only rotate so far - The top opening where it attaches to the fender of the saddle has a piece of leather in place measuring approximately 1-1/8" (leather opening) - Bottom foot or sole area is approximately 3½" at the widest - Interior sides opening for foot is approximately 3-3/4" at the widest - width of the bottom or soul of the stirrup is 1¼" - clean it up or just leave has is and use has a decor for the western home, office shop. Actual WT. 7 oz. Take a good look at the picture to see the condition. This is a local estate sale find.I have not attempted to clean, buff or oil it in any way. Scuffs and scratches present.
