Description: An antique early pearlware Staffordshire dark blue transferware cup plate, with a view of a manor house with a man and dogs. Based on the border, this pattern is attributed to John & Richard Riley (c.1802-1828), who made a series of British Views, but there is an impressed Davenport style anchor on the back, which is confusing. This is a cup plate, it is just over 3.5 inches diameter, and it is in excellent condition with no chips, no cracks, no flea bites, just some fine crazing and typical manufacturing flaws. Please see the photos for details. Thank you for looking! a3 Track Page Views With Auctiva's FREE Counter
