Description: This is a unique hand-made Russian doll. It is approximately 8" tall and has a pointed hat with plain top and printed skirt. The doll's face and hands are made of cloth and the face details are painted on. It has blue eyes and red lips. The shoes are very interesting made of a woven straw-like material. They are definitely hand-made. Condition is good for its age. There are words and numbers printed on the inner skirt which say: Made in Soviet Union 8084 antique stockinette Russian doll made in the soviet union. This is a type of rag doll covered in stockinette fabric. It’s handmade and dressed in traditional ethnic costume.
