Antique Stoneware Moore Nichols & Co. Williamsport, Pa 2 Gallon Jug Tobacco Leaf

Description: The item for sale is a real nice antique blue decorated Moore Nichols & Co. Williamsport, Pa stoneware jug with tobacco leaf decoration. The jug is in excellent condition but does have some ware. There is some small chipping on the spout and a sliver on the back of the rim by the handle. The sliver that I am referring could be in the making and is how the jug was made. I am pointing it out for accuracy. There is a chip on the bases left side. There are 3 small chips on the underside of the jug. All of the chips are in the pictures. The jug has imperfections from age and use on the body of the piece. There are no hairlines and repairs. This is a tough decoration for this area. I don't see many tobacco leafs from Williamsport. It is about 13 3/8" tall and 7 7/8" in diameter across the base.
