Antique SWEETMEAT biscuit JAR - Cased PINK SATIN art glass MOP w/Enamel Décor

Description: This is a beautiful antique art glass SWEETMEAT, Cracker or Biscuit JAR with a Chevron or Herringbone pattern - in Mother of Pearl/air trap Satin Glass, shaded pale Pink at the bottom to a deep Cranberry at the top.  It is decorated with hand painted,  raised enamel Flowers on the front and a Butterfly on the back.  Finished with a silverplate collar, lid and a Gold Chain topped handle. Unmarked - Maker, Country of Origin and actual date of production - Unknown - Likely English, circa 1890's.
