ANTIQUE TORTOISESHELL CELLULOID LADY’S ACCORDION COIN PURSE SILVER MONOGRAM #2 A lovely little lady’s coin purse probably dating to around 1900. The outside is tortoiseshell celluloid, there is a silver monogram on the front. Inside is red silk lined; the little mechanism that allows the two middle compartments to be clicked together has failed. The screw part is included – I have no idea if it can be fixed. However it does not effect either the usefulness or attractiveness of the purse; press button opens and closes securely. Approx 6 x 4.5 cms; 4 separate inside compartments.
